Plot : Life continues in Astro City after the death of the Silver Agent, and the Williams brothers have a huge falling out.

The super-powered community of the city is changing. Where once the streets were patrolled by heroes looking to lend a hand, now it just seems like everyone is out for revenge for something. Even the once whimsical Street Angel has taken a darker and more violent turn since teaming up with his new partner Black Velvet.

Charles Williams has been promoted to the Major Crimes unit, and he’s disillusioned with the way the unit operates. Graft in the department is rampant, and they don’t seem to actually do anything to help the citizens they’re supposed to protect and serve.

His brother Royal has also moved up in the world, and is now part of an organized gang lead by the Playtypus. But life among the criminals of Paragon City has gotten just as dark and dangerous as it has among the heroes and police. The two brothers miss each other, but are both too proud to speak to one another.

And as the situation in Astro City continues to escalate, both of the Williams brothers are presented with choices that they aren’t comfortable making.
