Sealed vs No-Shrink — what’s the difference?

They are the same official product — identical box, identical factory-sealed packs inside, identical cards. The only difference is the thin outer plastic film (“shrink”) wrapped around the box.

In Japan, many retailers cut this outer film off at the register as an anti-scalper measure — it discourages resellers from flipping sealed stock for profit. The box itself is never opened; only the outer wrap is removed. That’s what “No-Shrink” means: a genuine, unopened box, minus the outer film.

• Sealed — outer factory film intact. Best for long-term sealed collecting and display.
• No-Shrink — the same unopened box without the outer film, at a lower price. Best value if you plan to open and play, or collect the cards rather than the wrapper.

Every booster pack inside is factory-sealed in both conditions. No-Shrink is not “resealed” and not opened — it’s a normal, widely recognised condition in the Japanese market.
