Plot : The Martian Manhunter flees fromt he JLA satellite and heads straight to the Marshal’s warship, hoping that the satellite can auto-repair the breach fast enough to save his friends’ lives. As the Martians attack the Manhunter, other Martians infiltrate the satellite only to discover the League very much alive.

With her feelings conflicted, the Manhunter’s ex-lover J’en steals a ship and races to where the Manhunter’s craft was shot, finding him injured but alive in the wreckage. They make their way back to the warship where J’onn challenges the Marshal to single combat, defeating him before the whole of his army.

The Martians leave the Earth, but banish J’onn, forbidding him to return to Mars II.
